Black Skirt Tetra Prego or just swollen? Need help soon PLZ

OK photobucket is down so I don't know where to upload the pics I have taken so if you guys know of a different site I will up the pics. My tetra is swollen like a ballon. Literally! She swims sideways while idle...still eats and everything. There are about 3 other black skirts a Gold Gourami..2 plecos and a albino something..i forget cuz its my moms tank. its a 29gallon and taken care of all the time. I dont know what is happening but she keeps getting bigger. It's to the point where I wouldnt be surprised if she blew up. I thought she was pregnant but I would of thought she'd lay the eggs by now. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance.

While I haven't seen the specifics on it, it could be Tetras disease.

If the symptoms fit then remove it immediately or you could lose all the other tetras and some of the other fish.

You can upload the photos directly from this website. Above the text box where you enter your post, go to Insert ->Upload Image.

Also, it's possible she could be carrying eggs, but it's also possible that she has a tumor. With such impeded swimming I'm a little worried. More description would be very helpful though.

I hate to say it but that looks like tumors to me. The second picture shows very distinctly 2 different places where the swelling is occuring. Right under the head and then toward the anal fin. The red spots and the fact the swelling is also behind the anal vent is also an indication that it is not likely just an overly pregnant fish. In the first pictures, just to make sure I am seeing this right, is the red spot toward the anal fin the anal vent or just another red spot?

It also looks like it could be an intestinal parasite of some kind that has caused some swelling in one area and forced the internal organs to the other end.

At the very least I would quarantine the fish and treat it with whatever you can. I think Maracide will treat for paracites although I am not the best person to suggest a medication.

As for treating for tetra disease, I have not found anything that treats it and every source I have found says it is not treatable.
