Will my corycat eat a baby mystery snail?

i don't think so,providing variety of foods should keep him
from tasting your snail i hope.

when you set up a new tank,hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor,that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Hmmm, not sure. I have snails that have just grown in my tank so I haven't kept any intentionally. I haven't noticed my cories nor tetras trying to taste the snails. I have crushed the snails for my fish and they will eat them then.

Once the snail becomes bigger (than their mouths), I can't see them eating it since it will be too big to snack on.
