Whats the best thing to do?

hey everyone :)
right now i have to decided who is leaving my 29 gallon as i have a lonely sterbai cory and what i think is a gibbiseps pleco which is starting to out grow the tank (dont have an option of getting a bigger one as im leaving in a few years and cant take the tanks with :( ) so i have to give them back to the pet shop or find a new home for them. i really dont want to but as the pleco is the only fish left from when i first started out, and the sterbai rarely comes out. So i was thinking that maybe i should trade the sterbai for another bronze corydoras or my pleco for a bristlenose (most probably not as i already have two, and i just want another female to try and incourage breeding). i might not trade them for anything as im pretty much boarderlining over stocked, but please still leave suggestions :)

If I were you I would get rid of the pleco since you said it's already outgrowing the tank. You'd most likely find that if you got some buddies for your sterbai cory he would be a lot happier and you would see a lot more of him. I've found that when kept in a decent sized group they are very sociable and it's fun watching them all interacting with each other.

thanks im hoping to find though as my lfs only really stocked them the once so maybe they can order some in, however i hope im not overstocked then as i already has 2 bronze corydoras and 2 bristlenose catfish, plus the others in the tank.

I'm surprised that your plecos haven't been aggressive to each other. How big are they? Most of the time as they get bigger, they will get territorial and start fighting unless they are in a BIG tank.

he has become a bit agressive and chases the other catfish away, and the big rock is his. I really need to find him a home because in a few months he will outgrow the tank. i dont know if its better to find someone with a big enough tank or just take him back. im thinking taking him back to the lfs is better, but what happens if someone buys him and puts him/her in a small tank. i can buy a 100gallon at this point however i dont think its very practical.
