http://liveaquaria.com/product/prod_...fm?pCatId=1176 False Julii Cori Cat. I have two of them and love um! They go for the sinking waffers and if you get a pice of asparagus or zukini in the tank, everyone will gobble it up. When I had swordtails I would drop the flakes in the water and them put the wafers in. Swords and guppies always went right for the flakes. By the time the wafers got soft, they arleady were full and lost interest. The cories are awesome at cleaning up the algea and substrate. Trust me, if there's any type of food on the bottom..they will find it.
I don't think they are false julii. Their whole dorsal fin is black, and the julii only have a dot I think they are black sail cory cats Corydoras melanistius. The problem is my swords just don't stop eating They just eat the flakes then work on the wafer. It's ridiculous. I don't think they know when to stop eating.
definatly. i only have 1 and he isnt to good of friends with my albino cories so i plant on getting 2 or 3 more black sail cories and 2 or 3 more bronze cories ( since i have 1 of those too). hopefully ill have a pretty good couple of shoals when im done.
