Nah It's not a sterbai, I thought maybe a peppered too. But then peppereds don't have the black on their dorsal fins like these guys do.

They go for the sinking waffers and if you get a pice of asparagus or zukini in the tank, everyone will gobble it up. When I had swordtails I would drop the flakes in the water and them put the wafers in. Swords and guppies always went right for the flakes. By the time the wafers got soft, they arleady were full and lost interest. The cories are awesome at cleaning up the algea and substrate. Trust me, if there's any type of food on the bottom..they will find it.

I don't think they are false julii. Their whole dorsal fin is black, and the julii only have a dot I think they are black sail cory cats Corydoras melanistius. The problem is my swords just don't stop eating They just eat the flakes then work on the wafer. It's ridiculous. I don't think they know when to stop eating.

jeez if its not peppered then i really need to know what mine is too! mine looks EXACTLY like that and was marked as peppered so me and little fizz are in this boat together

well i think youve found it. mines a little darker overall i think because of dark gravel but thats definatly it. :D thanks i have to write that down.

definatly. i only have 1 and he isnt to good of friends with my albino cories so i plant on getting 2 or 3 more black sail cories and 2 or 3 more bronze cories ( since i have 1 of those too). hopefully ill have a pretty good couple of shoals when im done.
