Upside Down Cory

I thought my albino cory was dead this morning, then I remembered that I read that they hang upside down. So can anyone elaborate on this behavior?

He seems very happy lately. He has a fungal infection due to a fin injury/rot issue, but I've been treating with Melafix, and he seems so happy lately. I am assuming that upside down thing is good...

I've never heard of a cory swimming upside down I'm afraid. It's synodontis that are known for swimming upside down as far as I know.

Is the fungus getting any better?

I hope he will be alright.

I Googled upside down cory and was able to find a few stories of corys (cute rhyme) who like to hang upside down! He only did it one more time, yesterday-but then another fish swam by and scared him off. He seems fine, happier than most recently with fungus. The fungus is not getting worse, so I would say yes it's a bit better. No other fish are affected so that I am happy about.

hi
mine have never done that,
the only thing they have done is
slightly tip sideways.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
