Tips on feeding fish?

My question is how do you feed your fish? I got a 55 gal tank with some cories, gouramis, and platies. I use the flakes and everytime I feed the fish the gouramis and platies devour all the flakes before they reach the bottom. I then tried putting more flakes in and that just led to fat platies and overfeeding. I also tried the sinking pellets for the cories, but the gouramis and platies gang up on these pellets too.

Do you have a tank like this, if so, how do you feed your fish to ensure they all get their fill and avoid overfeeding?

If you need to get food down to cories, try feeding your platies and gouramis on one side, then drop pellets down to the bottom on the other side. If that doesn't work, try dropping pellets in when your lights are off at night so the other fish don't see the food, while the cories can go get what they want.

I have a 55 with cories, rainbows, black skirts, a pearl gourami and a pleco. I'll feed flake and NLS on one side and quickly drop in the tropical wafers for the cories. The wafers drop pretty quick so the cories get to them right away. On the days I feed frozen bloodworms I defrost the cubes in a cup of tank water. Then I pour some of the worms in at the top of the tank and then, using an eyedropper, suck some of the worms up out of the cup and deposit them right at the bottom of the tank for the cories. Seems to work well and everybody gets a taste.
