I'm not completely sure I'd recommend that for a community tank of this size. While it's completely possible to make it work the effort would deter me. They need more care with feeding and are a bit harder to feed in a community.

Yes Aggent13 after more reading I would have to agree :( So instead I went and bought 9 Neon tetras and a piece of drift wood for it :)

Aquarium
Rummynose tetra, Harlequin Rasboras, Lemon tetra, Emperor tetras, Black neon tetra are some good candidates for a peaceful community tank. I love a large shoal of Cory cats for the bottom.

You should acclimate them - it's just that it doesn't have to be a drip.

I float the bag in order to get the temps the same, then I pour the water and fish into a pitcher. I add a little (~3/4 of a cup) tank water every 10 minutes or so and then after 45 min or so I net the fish out of the pitcher and put them in the tank. If the fish came in a lot of water, then I will pour out some pitcher water after I add tank water a couple times, since the pitcher can only hold so much water.

Post Mix and match Corydoras

Hello everyone,
I have a 180 litre tank and part of my community consists of 4 Corydoras Sterbae and 3 Corydoras Panda.
I want to make up the numbers of each species to five or six. Can this be achieved with for example a couple more Pandas and a couple of Julii? or is it best to just get Julii.
Will they all see each other as company?

Gardening outside or gardening inside - whatever the weather I have a plot somewhere
