Size of ancistrus sp 3.

I've been looking around at some plecos and found the sp 3 ancistrus to be quite attractive. I was just wondering though, from a fry, how long will it take a female ancistrus to become full sized?
This is because i currently only have a 10 gallon but am getting a 50 gallon in june(my birthday lol...) and was wondering if the pleco wll be happy in a 10 gallon for 2-3 months or so?

Much appreciated!

My Bn grew 1 inch in 6 months but they were almost full grown when I got them. I would say you will be looking at 3 inches long or more in 6 months. Some of the growth rates depending on how much they are fed and how comfortable they feel. I would say IMO, that it should be fine for 3-6 months.
