Should I buy more Corydoras?

Hi everyone,
I've not been around for some time, and a lot has happened when I've been away! :D
Bad news first: My pair of Blue Rams died a couple of weeks ago from both fungus and suspected internal bacteria which killed the male very quickly. The female, however, also had pop - eye and was clearly in huge distress, but did not seem to be improving at all. Eventually when I was sure she was not going to live I had to resort to euthanasia (clove oil) to kill her.

Good news: Well there's not really any good news, apart from all my other fish are doing fine and I will in the next couple of weeks be getting another pair of Rams. I also got more plants from Greenline so the tank is looking a lot brighter.
Oh, and, (gosh nearly forgot) I am moving house some time later this year, and am thinking about buying a bigger tank. It may only be slightly bigger, but it may be 3 times the size. I don't know yet. :D

Anyway! I currently have 4 Panda Corydoras which I simply LOVE, and I would like very much to buy a couple more.
My tank is 100 litres, has been set up for almost a year, is quite densely planted and I have 4 Panda Corydoras, 2 Mollies and 6 Black Phantom Tetras.
So, should I get more? How many should I get?

Thanks everyone,
Kathryn xx :)

cories usually like to be in shoals of 6 or more, your tank isnt overstocked imo so i would get another 2-3 if it were me. cories are one of my favourite fish as well - i have albino bronze and bronze

sorry to hear about your rams. i had one die today and another which doesnt look like she will last much longer. both are/were infected with shite spot

Thanks for the ultra fast reply. ;)
Ok, I'll give it another couple of weeks then buy another 2 or 3.

Sorry to hear about your Rams. No one seems to be doing very well with Rams recently. :(
I hope the other one does survive.

lol. Was that intentional?
I've had an entire tank wiped out because of it, so I agree whole heartedly.

rams seem to be difficult to keep at the moment. everyone is loosing them to poo spot, to internal parasites, to unknown diseases, to everything. and the best of it is, i dont think they actually are that hard to keep as long as its a mature tank :(

keep us updated on your cories. let us know if you get mroe

I haven't. Although I admittedly lost 3 males when my CO2 leaked. One was supposed to be dying of old age considering how big he is but the CO2 leak speed up the process.:(

Yeah, that's what I thought. They were in a mature tank, everything seems fine (eg no nitrite or ammonia and water very soft). The only thing they probably didn't like was slightly high pH. It was very unexpected.

As to the Cories, I will keep you updated. I am moving house this year at some time, so I am contemplating getting a slightly bigger tank. No bigger tan 4 foot long, but I'd like quite a deep tank, maybe 2 foot deep, so I have more aquaspacing room (ie plants!). ;)

Thanks.
