I bought mine from Petsmart. I really like him, I've had him in my 55g community tank... he is very slow growing. He is not the spotted one, but with my blue back ground his skin is quite unique. I've been very happy with him and he does a good job with the tank.

The Rubber Lip or Rubber Nose Pleco is one of my favorite Plecos as they do keep rather small in size and are not that agressive in comparison to Common or the Ancistrus family in general. There are several species that are sold as Rubber Nose plecos actually.

When I kept them I kept them in a community tank and found the species I had very interesting and mine was about 4 inches in length which is basically the information that I have found on Chaetostoma (Rubber Lip Plecos)

There are several species of Chaetosoma ... including Chaetostoma Milesi which was the species that I had. However there are a number of Chaetosoma L Series numbers.
