I understand the tank will never be fully self sustaining, but some help with the algae (like on leaves and rocks) is something I really need.
Will raphael catfish do the job?
Also, if I get enough ghost shrimp, will they clean the tank (some)?
No,Raphael catfish will not clean algae. It will however happily eat shrimp and or fishes smaller than it.
Raphael can grow to around six inches and are largely carnivores.
