Pleco identification- October photo contest #9

There are two gorgeous plecos in the 9th photo of the October photo contest. I think that the one in the foreground is a Green Phantom Pleco, but I wanted to make sure. Also, does anyone else know what the other one is? I really don't know much about plecos. They are two of the most colorful ones I've ever seen!

Anyone know? Thanks

I'll try to dig through the member's posts. I remember him identifying the other pleco. Have you look into the Loricariids Photos sticky thread? Several plecos are posted there along with their names.

Here is the photo you are referring to:

The pleco at the bottom is a Scobinancistrus aureatus (L14).

Thanks! They're both sooo pretty. It just doesn't list who took what photos, so I couldn't PM the photo taker and ask. I'll def. browse through the photo sticky!

okay, per your suggestion lupin, I did in fact find it! He's a Baryancistrus demantoides and the photo was taken by xingumike. Beautiful.

the green one looks like a green phantom ( Baryancistrus demantoides ) not ( Hemiancistrus subviridis ) L200 .
