While talking to one of the ladies in one of the offices the otherday she said.."Iheard you like raising fish" We then began talking about the hobby and she explained that her significant other was breeding fish and was in the process of finishing out his fish room at the new house they just bought. She asked what fish I liked and I told her. I also told her I was trying to find a bristlenose pleco for a 29 gal. that i have in the boileroom (my office).thiis a.m. she phoned down to the boileroom and asked if I could come to her office. Upon arriving she presented me with Two live long finned albino bristlenose plecos approx hail as long as your little finger. I tried to pay her but she would not accept. I just unbagged them ten minutes ago and am watching them explore their new digs. I must say they are very cute. ( but I mean that in a virile sort of way.)

Awesome! You'll have an easy time breeding them when they grow up too. And it's soo cute raising young bristlenoses. I love watching their bristles develop.

I've got a few albino long fins that are almost old enough to breed. We should do a trade at some point to keep the bloodlines mixed up :)

I rehomed the serpae and bloodfin tetras last week and put fancy guppys in the tank. Spanish dancers, lepoard tail. and some purple and blue fan tail. Already have approx. twenty fry . The BN are busy this AM the tank has been setup for a couple months and there is enough algae for a while. Another lady brought me a very large zuchinni this morning and I bought a little cave for them to rest in. One of them is camped out on an algae wafer at the moment and is chasing off the guppys and the julii corys although the corys are persistent. I may take one of the BN home to Discus tank once they get a little larger. But only if they prove to not get along (ie) two males. They truly do make interesting additions to the tank. :D
