I have just recently gotten a rubber lipped pleco. I fed it cucumber and zuchinni. It did not eat though, and a week later, it died. Does anyone know about this?
It's possible it wasn't healthy to begin with. Did you offer any sinking wafers in addition to just fresh veggies? Is there any driftwood in the tank? Gnawing on driftwood aids in digestion for plecos. Just ideas I'm tossing out there. Others may have more solid answers.
i heard the zucchini has to be blanched? Also I think you should have fed it sinking pellets instead of relying on vegetables...
Another matter is your Tiger Oscar in a 29 gal. I believe 1 oscar needs 55 gals minimum!
