Last night I gave all of my goldfish to my nephew as they were being a pest towards all of the other fish. I also took back the tetras as they were very vicous fin nippers. I will be going to get some more fish to replace their presence soon. I will definitely get more ghost catfish. The pictus hasn't shown any carnivore tendencies towards the other fish as of yet. The first I notice it he will be put into another tank. This is a tank I am just starting and I am sure I will be getting another tank this year sometime. Till then, all of these guys are small and young and I am assuming will be fine for the time being? Please correct me if I am wrong in this assumption.

Ive had my Pictus since late december.
He hasnt nipped any fins, matter of a fact, he school (well hangs out) with the other fish. Him and my cory are best friends.
He loves hanging out behind my rock decorations, but, as soon as theres food in the water, hes out and about.
Hes a very happy fish. Hes almost doubled in size when I got him. Hes almost full grown now Im guessing. Hes pretty big, and if he gets any bigger, Im affraid Im going to have to find him a new home, as he lives in a 29 gallon tank, but he looks likes hes doing well, as well as acts like hes doing well. Hes a very active fish, and one of my favorites =] They are pretty great fish.

Mind you, THEY DONT LIKE SALT! NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT OF SALT! I learned that with my first Pictus. He ulcered up and died >_<

That is very good to know! I was told by Petsmart to put some Salt in my tank after I did my 25% water change to help bring my nitrate levels down.
