It's natural to be a bit hostile at feeding time. Sometimes when I'm out to eat and the waitress reaches
over my shoulder to get my empty glass for a refill, I'll let out a low growl. It's all about instinct. So as long as it's
only happening during the feed, I wouldn't worry about it. They will learn quickly to respect each other and all will be well.
