Hi guys! Just got a triplet of peppered cories at petsmart today and plopped em in with my serpae tetras. Ive noticed they were a bit scared at first and wouldnt move, but as time went by. they started munching on all of the pebbles. About 30 min in the tank, the serpaes started nibbling on the cories' tails. So in total, ive got 8 Serpae Tetras, 3 Pepperd Cories, some plants, and a cave in a 20 gallon tank. Would this be suitable for the cories and tetras to get along?

Serpaes are nippy. Would it be okay if you replace them with other tetras instead? Red phantoms look quite similar to them except they lack white linings on their black patches.
i dont know about returning them, ive had the serpaes for more than 2 months. Know any other ways to make them stop nipping? Returning them is my last option .
I could return the cories... but i need some other fish that wont be bothered by nipping that cleans the tank.

This seems tricky to me. The tank must be very spacious for them to totally ignore the cories. Even with more hiding places, they'll find a way to nip the cories again. How about an excuse for another tank?
i do have a spare emptey 10 gallon.. maybe i should put the serpaes in there since they arent very compatible with any other fish and get some neon tetras and put em with the cories.
Sounds like you could fit a few more corys in your tank . They're much more fun and less shy when there are 6+ of them!
