Pale bn pleco

So I bought another plec. I moved my fish from qt to their respective homes,so this new guy plus 5 panda corys are in qt now. I acclimated these guys for like over 2 hours. The pandas seem to be doing just fine. But the plec is still a little pale. It's in splotches not pale all over. Just wondering if he will be okay??thanks.

Can you post a pic? If the BN is being kept on a very light colored surface (white sand, bare bottom tank) it would make sense to me that he is "washing" out to blend in better with his surroundings.

Yeah, if you can post a pic. But I remember my BN did that when I first got him. Took him a day or two til he got settled in for the splotchiness to go away and reveal his beautiful spots.

Hmm that makes sense. I do have sand substrate in there, plus the wood has light areas. If i see him sometime soon I will try and get a picture lol. He is good at hiding, soon as I turn the kitchen light on he is gone.

Looks normal to me. I have sand tanks and my BN get a little lighter and darker depending on what they are laying against. I personally would not sweat it unless he isn't eating or is acting odd.
