otocinclus catfish, can't decide & need advice.

I got two Otocinclus Catfish in my tank and I also got some Algae Wafers. They don't seem to be eating the wafers at all. Maybe they don't like them. I'm trying to decide whether I should get a veggie clip and some veggies and feed that to the Oto Catfish, or if I should Purchase some driftwood or plant on driftwood and have them eat the algae from that. My point is, I need some advice or opinions.

Otocinclus are primarily algae eaters and often do poorly in new tanks or tanks with little or no algae.
You can try the veggies such as spinach leaves,romain lettuce,some zuchinni ,or some dried marine Algae found at some fish stores. Live plants would also be a good idea.

Thanks for your feedback. In your opinion, do you think the veggies would do better for them, or the plants on driftwood?

I would think the plant on driftwood would be better for them, since they are primarily algae eaters.

I would try all until such time as enough algae has developed.

I agree, I would try all of them. My ottos use to go after the veggies, but I have not seen them eating it for a while. They do go after the algae wafers. My tank is heavily planted, so there should be a good source of algae. I still do all three for my Ottos.
