is this an okay setup?

currently i have a 5 gallon tank with a filter and a heater.
1 pictus catfish and 4 albino corys.

seems like the corys get along well with the pictus but arent pictus nocturnal? mine is awake and crazy 24 7 ....

also, my pictus seems to be always on one side of the tank, facing the side glass and just swimming around really fast. is there something wrong?

i might be getting a 10 gallon soon but not sure.

Hi. 5 gallons is way too small. Your pictus cat will need a much bigger tank than even a 10 gallon. I believe they get up to about 6". They need lots of swimming room.

Welcome to

I concur with Jean.:) The pictus will prefer a long tank, preferably a 3-4 footer. As for cories, I'd stick with the dwarf species such as Corydoras pygmaeus.
