Possibly, but could also just be interaction. Corys are highly social fish, and I recall reading one author some years ago who likened their frequent tickling of one another wiith their barbels as ticklish kissing in humans.
It is often a pre-spawning ritual, and i frequently observe it even between species in my 115g tank which has over 30 corys of 12 species. I have regular spawnings, a few fry sometimes survive and seem to be of one species, so I can't tell if the species actually cross-breed when I spot obvious cross-species behaviours.
