I thought I was going insane. So happy to know that they actually do wink (or blink). Felt like I was on some strange drug when one of my fake Juliis was chilling out and then winked at me.

My twenty tall has 4 adults, sand substrate, intank filter, heater and plants. When I had it heavily planted they lay eggs on everything. I have several ages (now almost adult size in another tank) just waiting for me to take to the fish store. They loved the Elodea I brought in to winter while I worked on my pond hole at the end of the sump pump dry river bed. Almost immediately started courting and laying!

Hmmm, would they breed in a community tank?
