My new Corys!!

Hey all,its been awhile. Anyways Ive many losses over time (mostly non-cory) so I am trying to stick with corys now lol. I also have learned my lesson about QT the hard way. Anywho. In my 14 gallon QT tank I now have 3 Brochis Splendens,3 Peppered Corys, and 3 San Juan Corys. I honestly never heard of the last one,but they are nice looking. I plan to add the peppered and san juan to my 38 once they are deemed healthy enough. The Brochis guys will be going up to my 20 long, where I only have a couple Albino Corys left.

BTW,my Panda corys are doing just fine. As are the Pygmys but rarely see the buggers haha. I do not recall if I mentioned that I moved my False Julii Corys to my 38. Just in time too, after I moved them and purchased some Black Neon Tetras,I had an ICH outbreak leaving just 1 fish alive. *sigh* So glad I didnt lose all my Juliis. anywho, some piccies of my new guys(er girls...I dunno)

The lfs also had a zebra looking type plec but I have no idea what one it was. Obviously not the real one bc it was cheap. I was considering it but was worried about it getting along with my corys so I passed on it.

3 gallon male betta
10 gallon male betta
12 gallon QT
30 gallon
1 Pl*co, Brochis Splenden,False Julii Cory,Pygmy Corys,Female Betta,Harlequin Rasbora,Tetras

Nice looking Cories!

FWIW, I have heard that plecos get along just fine with the cories.. Some plecos get huge though and need alot of space.

Hey fishy,

Nice pics. Sorry to hear about your other fish tho. :(

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Thanks guys!! Yeah I was trying to figure out which zebra like pleco it was but there seems to be quite a few. Looks like they stay relatively small though,4". Hmmm. They had it labeled as rubber nose but I don't think they come in zebra colors?? My lfs is notorious for mislabeling fish.
