is my albino cory sick?

I have 4 albino cory in my tank, and the smallest one of the bunch has been staying at the top of the tank for the past day. He is normally active, but not so much lately. Is he sick or do they sometimes like to just hang at the top?

How long have you had them? What is the water temperature?

When I first got my corys they were buzzing up and down the walls for a day or tow. They have since settled down and hang out near the bottom.

If you haven't changed the water in the tank in the last 5-6 days I would do a 50% water change.

What I've noticed about Cory Cats is that they are either swimming up and down the tank sides like crazy, or they take it easy on the bottom and look for food/sleep. Any other kind of action (or lack there of) would concern me.

I had one Cory Cat that I rescued from a friend who was giving away his fish. I never kept them before. The first week I had him he was active. The next week he was barely moving even at night. He literally didn't move for 3 days. I had to poke him a bit with the net to make sure he was even still alive. Then I realized my idiocy. Cory Cats need friends. I went to the store and bought him 3 new friends. From the very second they went in the tank, my little Cory Cat perked up and began playing with his new friends. That night, they slept all in a pile with my original Cory happily on the bottom. Since then everything with my Albino Cory Cats have been great. All healthy and happy and growing.
