Mixing cories?

I am getting rid of my 30 gallon tall (it's a pain and doesn't fit much) and bought a 20 gallon long. I have 3 female bettas which have been in the 30 for a couple of months now. They will be going in the 20 once the filter catridge has beneficial bacteria on it (I put the 20 gallon catridge in my 75 gallon so it will cycle asap).
Now I am looking at putting 6-8 cories in it as well, can I mix the cories? Like 3-4 pandas, and 3-4 emerald greens.
What other fish can I put in the 20, or what other fish would you put in it?

Yeah i hate tall tanks too. Yup you can mix different species of cories. They wont shoal together, but as long as you have like you said 3-4 of each one should be fine. As for other fish,hmm...not sure really...I dont know what you like, but there are always rasboras, tetras all that lol. Someone else probably can give you better ideas for that. Did you ever have cories before? They are so funny! Not sure if all species of them are,but my pandas sure are. Lol.

Well I would like for them to shoal so maybe I should stick to one type then... and no I haven't dealt with them, but I have wanted them for awhile now.... I also want some julies too maybe sometime in the future.

Oh okay. Yeah then 6 of one species or more than if you want shoaling. Ive seen juliis. There are false and real juliis i dunno the difference lol. I think the one actually gets quite a bit bigger than the real one. something like that. I really love my pandas,so comical. But you have a a bigger tank so you can get away with the bigger cories as well. Good luck!
