It makes me wonder if only Tracy has the most number of species of plecs here.
The plecs are lovely. If not for the plec invasion here, there wouldn't be a ban on imports of some fancy plecs. If I can remember the plec species that invaded some of the water system and marshlands, it is not those Hypostomus plecostomus.
Oh and here's the link about the article on plec invasion.

LOL Blue, it isn't about who has the most because I am the first to admit I have gotten way too many way too fast. My problem is I have to pay to have them shipped since the pleco selection in my area is limited to only 2 or three different kinds at one store. And if you are going to pay for shipping you might as well get more than one, nobody wants to pay an extra $50 for one pleco.
I do have several more species, but I have been so busy trying to finally get all my small tanks down to my fishroom Ihaven't had a chance to go through my pictures. Tracy

Panaque species are so awesome, and someday I would love to own the ultimate panaque, the blue eyes. Unfortunately I don't see that happening any time soon, so I will have to settle for finishing out my smaller panaque groups and see if I can breed them. I would love to get my hands on the small orange spotted panaque, but I cannot remember the LDA number right now. Your pictures are beautiful. Tracy

Do you mean either L105 or Lda68?
