Any sort of cory should work, and groups of at least six are best. What kind of substrate do you have? Cories need either a very smooth gravel or sand substrate in order so their barbels don't get damaged.
i have crushed coral subtrate.

Crushed coral is a very rough substrate. I would not add any cories to that substrate because of the damage it will do their barbels.

Cories do sit still sometimes. They are not always on the go as you might expect. Even the pygmies get to about 1 1/3 inches long when full grown so they are not all that small. They do look tiny next to something like a panda cory. The C habrosus are my favorite pygmies because they are out in the open more than the others.
