I would think that they would be fine in the 5 gallon for a day or two, if necessary....
well i got some pandas. the guy told me that i cant fit six in a ten gallon,though all yas said i can lol. he tried to sell me just two i was like dont they need more to be happy. hes like no. uh ok. so max he let me get is four lol. oh and i had to go to a different lfs down in ne philly,as my local did not get them. lol. so yeah. hope four is fine. heh. else i can get two more when my local lfs gets em. :)
That guy sounds like a jerk! I'd rather get my info from people here than at a petstore. People here are experienced and know what they are talking about. I think 4-6 are ok but someone else will have to tell you for sure.When do you think the local lfs will get some?
Just did some more research.lol They can be kept in groups as small as 3 but prefer a larger group such as six.I think they'll do fine in a group of four. You could always add 2 more later if you want but I think a group of 4 will be fine. :)
They look good. Tiny lil things though. Bebees hehe. I get to watch em grow which is cool. I kept checking on em on the way home cause i was paranoid they wouldnt make it lol. It was a long and bumpy drive. But they seem fine. Hopefully once i get their tank set up they will be happy lil fishys. I am wondering though,with how tiny they are,how much i should feed them lol. I got the small algae wafers but they even seem too big for one of those lil guys haha. Maybe 2 small wafers for the 4 will work....heh...
