The majority of Corydoras max out at around 2 inches, but there are several species a bit smaller, and a few larger (4 inches). I suggest you check the species here, click on the photo and info will appear. PlanetCatfish • Cat-eLog
Remember corydoras are shoaling fish, they must be in groups. With six corys you could do all one species, or have three of two species. Some are more particular about having their own than other species to shoal with, but in my 15 years of Corydoras experience I have found a minimum of three of one species when there are two or more species in the tank works fine.
