How fast's he gonna grow?

Hey folks, i have a comon plec currently residing in my 30g tank and i was wondering how fast he grows. I'm aware he's gonna out-grow this tank, and i'm gonna be getting a bigger one in a couple of months, so i'm not overly concerned, just curious. I really like the look of big plecs and i guess i'm just a bit impatient for him to be a monster! do they have a 'set' growth rate or is it far too dependant on conditions to be able to say? Cheers.

Growth rate is dependent on tank conditions, tank maintenance and foods.

Your second post of a plec growing by 4 inches is already a sign that you are doing well on your own accord.;)

Pond with lots of food and clean water. The more room you give the better.

what sp. of pleco enzo?

wasn't a common, unless it was adult already when you got it.

Slinkys, i experienced a very similar growth rate to you with my first pleco ( a common as well) mine seemed to slow down at 7 inch or so, that rate, as Lupin stated indicates to me that you are doing well as an aquarist :)
