Not at all what I was saying.

I was saying that as time goes on more pleco nnuts will offer up small plecos he might be able to keep.

I thought you did a nice job of cutting and pasting the finer parts of what he needed to know. I was only continuing.

Ok, I have one of these guys,Nick was right on size but off on colouring.
I have added a (crap)pic of mine so you can see.(he's just over 3")

Species name:Leporacanthicus heterodon

Not the sites generally, Claude. It was the forums that is being avoided. It's best to just stick on copy and pasting the infos, and of course, you are right to give the original author the credit for the infos recommended.:)

can some one help me id this pleco i dont have a pic of mine but, i got one off PF so if it any ones pleco sry for takeing your pic. mine looks some thing like this but i think its a female. (s)he was three for five at pet smart so i bought him and five neons

common bristlenose is another name for it.
If it develops alot of bristles up the middle of it's nose it's a boy,If it just develops a few round small ones round the mouth it's female.
