I have what I believe is a female BN (or really young one). She's a very shy girl, but when I do see her on the glass, I noticed her belly is looking rather plump.

Diet includes all the blanched zucchini she likes, occasional spinach leaves. Shrimp pellets, and all the driftwood she can rasp. I'd feed algae wafers, but the female bettas she cohabits with steal everything they can. And have the bellies to prove it.

So, question is, is this bloat, or is she gravid? And if so, are there any worries with her reabsorbing or releasing the eggs?
