ok, so i got 6 little pygmy corys and i love them! the problem is...so do my other fish. my cherry barb and my harlequinn rasboras are harassing them, i think because they want to see if they are a food source?? they are chasing them once in a while...and my cherry barb is actually bumping them or trying to nip at them and sort of stalking them. will this eventually end? i am hoping that the barb and other fish will give up in a little while- once they get used to the new little tank mates??
Harlies and barbs get bored when not kept in shoaling groups of 6 or more. If you don't have this quantity of each at this time you may consider doing so.
i have 6 rasboras, and they seem to be ignoring their tiny new friends now, but that one rogue cherry barb continues to stalk...and i don't have room to add another. at least he doesn't really appear to be biting...maybe just investigating.
