i bought 6 pygmy corys about two months ago, and slowly 4 of them have died. (one was my fault...i dropped a rock on him when cleaning the tank...they are so small that it killed him instantly.....r.i.p little fella
the other three just sort of died of no real cause. no disease, no stress. i am beginning to think they just starved, cause i realized that i have never seen them eat very much. the two i have look healthy, and seem fine. i want to get more, so they feel more comfortable, but i want to make sure they will get plenty to eat.
the tank they are in now has 6 harlequinn rasboras and one male cherry barb (very docile male).
when i put flakes in the tank, the other fish eat them before any fall to the pygmys, so i began to break up 1-2 large sinking pellets in for them. is this enough food? is there something else i could feed them? they don't seem to like brine shrimp.
