lol luckly they only grow 1 pound yea and im gettin either 400 or 600 gal havnt decided but once he hits 3 feet im releasing him to either lake erie or hes going on road trip to the hudson to be with the rest his family and enjoy lake

maybe 2 feet only time will tell but at 1 pound year take him long time to get big 20 years before he gets to big

You need a 125G+ once he is at least 10" long. Preferably 180G for long-er term health.

yea i knw im waitin on alot cash going to have somebody build either 400 gal or 600 gal in basement hes 6 inchs now ans i think hes adhd lol but funny

the coolest fish iv ever had always on the mover never slow moment with this guy i can sit and stare at him go upside down sides way loops all sorts cool ways didnt knw fish could move and cuz him i had to get shrimp and i think all the other fish are over joyed i was tryin to get out feeding fish shrimp but o well lol and he cleans the bottom the tank :) should got him instead of pleco

my LFS has one in their display tank (400gal). he is only about 7 inches currently but they do a lot of work with the local aquarium and get cool stuff to display and do some educational stuff in the store with them. they have had him for about 6 months. He isnt forsale but when i saw him i wanted one too untill i did some research. and just as a side note......i dont think its cool or a good idea to release them or anyother fish into local waters......why even get such a fish if your just going to release it when it gets too big???

cuz if i didnt save the little guy god only knws were he would of ended up possibly in ten gal wit somebody who doesnt have interenet and doesnt knw anything and if makes it alive to reach three feet i will be surprised thats almost 30 years from now i mean pound year really isnt growing i dont knw i will figure out then i just got him yesturday i called a guy about builiding my tank he wants 10,000 to build it way i want doesnt sound to bad make tall and long that way all the fish can swim and get speed and have fun get me big piece driftwood for my pleco to live in its gonna be awesome cant wait i can decorate it from the inside lol be so big
