The Sturgeon is quite hardy and adjusts to aquarium conditions nicely. The temperature may be allowed to rise to 74ºF, but it generally should be kept between 54 and 65ºF. Clean and clear water along with good water current is essential to this fish's health. A powerful filtration system is a must. The Sturgeon won't spawn in the home aquarium, but in nature it breeds from May to June. ok now to throw in my 2 cents it does well in small then 180gal is happy guy at 78 eats shows happyness and loving and all above cool fish to watch swim around the tank and up and down on the glass to cute with big nose

one thing if u get annoyed wit fish that never stop moving dont buy this it dont stop lol

Do you realize how big this thing gets? And you have it in a 55?

Eventually you will have to give it to a zoo unless you can get a tank big enough for a 6' fish.
