i didnt want to start another thread, cuz i get super annoyed when people make a million threads on the same thing, so

this little cory died today :( i woke up and he was on the ground gray and super skinny.

maybe he just starved himself? and i never noticed?

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I didn't want to start another thread either, so I'll just ask if somebody knows about corydoras punctatus's whiskers/barbels/mustache.

I've got 5 corys in that tank - three albino and two punctatuses. One of the spotted corys has quite prominent barbels, but the other's barbels are short. Sounds like the same situation.

I've fed the live food today. Everyone was eating eagerly. But the punctatuses seemed a bit shy with the worms. It looked like they didn't feel them with their barbels and when they did they would whisk away from the worm.

I wonder if I should be worried about their health, or is it just a peculiar feature of this breed?
