Hi guys, today i have questions on two different types of catfish. They are, what size tank do they need, do they need to be in groups, what's their compatibility, and how big do they get. The first catfish is the banjo catfish and the second one is the skunk cory. Thanks.

I have kept skunk cories in the past and in my experience they have been the most timid cories. I would suggest to keep them in a group of 5 or 6 skunk cories (no mixing for a total of 5/6). I have tried 2 skunks with 8+ peppers and they never were happy.

Cories are very compatible an do well in any tank 10 gallons or larger. Skunks get about 2.5 inches.

I dont know about the Banjo cats, I only keep Corydoras and Synodontis cats.

I have never had a full breed Featherfin but do currently have a featherfin hybrid which I bought at petsmart for $5. I wasnt looking to buy it and thought that it was a synodontis petricola; at $5 it would have been a bargain. Featherfin a very hardy and may eat smaller fish in the tank; my hybrid is in a community tank (guppies and cories) and really doesn't cause any trouble.

They are commonly kept as a single species due to size with no problem.
