I want pics as soon as they're large enough for your camera to focus on! I *love* baby corys- just so darn cute!

Glad to hear they're doing well and growing quickly

hey just wanted to keep whoever is intrested updated. i have 5 babies left and they are developing there colours know :D. Its wierd as they are striped even though they are bronze cory babies .They are great eaters, and in half an hour there is no food left my mickey mouse platy gave birth but i could only save two of her fry so they are hanging out with the little cory babies. :D

Mine were sort of striped as well.

Glad to hear that some have made it and are doing well. I've been looking out for updates to this thread. :)

hehe thanks falina. i sort of went into panic mode for some reason about the stripes lol, but looking at other bronze fry it looks like they all have it. Should the adults be spawning regularly? some articles ive read say that the cories should be spawning every couple of weeks?

They can spawn regularly, every few weeks like you mentined but it's not a worry that they don't. Mine for example will spawn every few weeks, but then they might have a break for a few months and then spawn again once, another break etc etc. They seem to just spawn when they feel like it. It's very likely that they will spawn again, but when they do it will be up to them. It's nothing to worry about. :)

thanks Falina :), the female looks much rounder so she could be carrying more eggs maybe

Sorry about the low survival, but if they do spawn again, you'll be prepared!

The first spawning is always the trickiest. Neither the fish nor you have gotten the hang out it. Theoretically the cories will lay more eggs, since they have more practice, and more of them will be fertilized.
