Bristlenose Pleco temp??

I'm planning on buying 2 German Blue Rams. I'd like to get a small algae eater, and see the profile says the BP can go up to 81 degrees, but I'm setting the temp for 82 for my German Rams. Will this work to get this type of Pleco? If I attempted to breed the German Rams, I'd even raise the temp up to 84, but could move the Pleco to my other tank during that time if need be. Anyone has these with German Blue Rams and had success? Thanks

Bristlenose would prefer cooler water, Eighty degrees is near upper extreme for this fish .
Once drew the ire of some Discus keeper's when I suggested that they give same consideration to tank mates that they often place in their warm water tanks, that they do their Discus, (ie) cory's, tetra's , plecos.
German blue rams enjoy and seem to do best in soft acidic water, a bit on the warm side of 80 degrees F.
Higher temps are a bit too warm for many tetra's, cory's, and some plecos but it doesn't always matter to some.
Not sayin you are one of these ,,just sayin.

I agree, there are all sorts of people that keep fish mixes that seem strange, just based on temp alone, not to mention other factors. My plan is to keep my tank for these German Rams at 82, and the profile says up to 81 for the Bristlenose, so I'm not sure. The LFS says it's a good fish with them. I would like to have something that eats algae because I do have plants. I don't want a fish that will get too large.
