yeah kinda small, be diligent with water changes and hopefully you can upgrade before too long

Water changes are about 40% weekly at the moment. Plus the plants I have in the tank are keeping nitrates down.

The tank now has:

5 x Black Skirt Tetras
5 x Orange Black Platys
5 x Neon Tetras
1 x Bristlenose

yeah, you'll probably want a bigger tank eventually, but if you have a great filter and live plants, you should be alright for awhile.

I would love a larger tank, just don't have the room for a larger one right now.

no prob! you should be alright for quite awhile, if you have a test kit, monitor parameters, and of course you know water changes are vital. Good luck with your little guy! I really adore mine, he's cute and funny
