There are several species, and other members with direct experience may offer some advice, but to get you started here is an article from Serious Fish.

Well, you do need more than one to start! LOL!
If I am to breed any fish as I have done, I would always get 6 or more on juvies and let them pair off.

Information reggarding necessary water conditions and aquascaping could be found all over the net for BN pleco. Good Luck!

The link byron included pretty much covers it all. You want a cave with only one opening. I have seen many people make their own out of slate or regular tiles. I bought mine from a guy who breeds them and talked with him for a while about his set ups. My young pair has actually laid their first batch of eggs within the last few days, so i'm hoping for some success. I noticed the male was spending lots of time in the breeding cave the last few days, and looked in tonight and noticed him fanning the eggs.

Thank you. I have wigglers currently, they're eating up their egg sacks. I go to pick up a spare tank tomorrow, so i'll transfer them over so they don't get eaten up by my angels once they get to the free swimming stage. I'm hoping to have some of the fry survive.
