BN pleco in pH 7.5 hard water

Anyone keeping a BN pleco in a tank with cichlid substrate? Any issues keeping BN in water at pH 7.5 and a little harder than typical? My plants seem to love this particular low-tech/low light tank.

I need to move a couple of my BN adults out of a 55 gallon into a 20 gallon long and the 20L happens to have a mix of black sand and "cichlid" sand that pH and hardness "adjusts" for keeping African cichlids. I grew the young BN out in a 10g with literally this exact substrate, but I changed the water every couple of days, reducing the average hardness and pH.

*560 gallons (2120 liters) in 5 tanks -> you do the math.

No problem with that at all.
I have 3 BN in my 75G cichlid tank, great algae cleaners.

Thanks, that's good to know!
I have 6 BN's in my 55 and I'm getting tired of having quite so many "holes" in my swords from the BN's browsing...
