The biggest cory I've ever seen

So I found this new lfs and while I was looking at thier fish I come across this tank that had a sick oscar, about 3 inches and it looked like it's swim bladder or something was wrong cause it just kept swimming in circles. With this sick oscar was a cory. This fish was at least 4 1/2 inches long and maybe 2 inches tall. It was huge!! It looked just like a false julii but I didn't think they could get that big. The owners said he's had it for years and won't sell him since it's his buddy now. Anyone ever heard of them getting that big? I tried to get a pic but my cell phone wouldn't get a good pic that you could really get the idea of this fish.

There's a bunch of Bronchis splendens posted in Loaches Online at almost 4 inches in size. I'll post the pic for you when I find the pics.:)

The Brochis splendens in my breeder tanks are every bit of 3-31/2" long. Lupin is correct in that many novices confuse them as a giant cory.

Tiger barb is there for size indicator. Barracuda518 of Loaches Onlines owns them.

One of my LFs had full grown Brochis Splendens and they were huge.
I'm just curious though...Holly said the one she saw looked like a false julii. Too bad she couldn't get a pic!

I do want to stop in tomorrow night since he got a new shipment in Wed so I'll try to get a pic even if you can't tell the size, you'll still be able to make out the fish. He had the exact same markings of my false julii. I'll post a pic this weekend.
