Banjo Catfish

My LFS has some of these guys in. Been reading up on them and am quite intreagued even though they spend most of the day buried in the sand!

I've read contradictory stuff about them being shoaling or not and wondered if anyone know if they are better in a group or not?

Also, as they're nocturnal, is it necessary to do a night time feed or will they feed in daytime if food is around?

i have these fish instore and they are amazing little fish that are not as poplular as they should be. allthough spending majority of their time under the sand once they have settled and become more confident in their new tank thye can be seen alot more often. When more confident they will feed during day light hours, but at first u will need to feed tham at night, they love bloodworm. Hope this helps, any more questions then please ask

thanks. Been feeding at night but he/she doesn't like it when i put the room lights on and tends to hide in the sand by the time i get the bloodworms in. Gonna keep trying this method though
