Albino Pleco

I have been looking for an albino pleco. Do all kinds of plecos have an albino version? I have been looking all over and can't find any at stores. They must be rare and probably a lot of money. Anyone have info on Albino Plecos?

What kind are you looking for specifically? Albino bristlenose plecs are very easy to find where I am.

Albino common plecs are not as common as the original strains but they won't be the ones you are looking for your tank. You may have to research further on the plec species you want. Most are too big for a 55 gallons containing synos, cories, etc.

Lindberg- your Albino High Fin is probably a bristle nose pleco. The longfin variety has been developed in captivity and is starting to become quite popular in the industry.
