I have 3 Albino Cories in my community tank. One is huge! She is a bit older than the other two so I expect her to be the big mamma, who balances on her belly. The other two I purchased at the same time as babies (so darn cute!) and they were roughly the same size. One of them has gotten to almost double in size, and the other is still very tiny.

He's not ill, buzzes all over the tank, very social and eats ok. Could it be that the other two are just female so they are larger?

Has anyone ever had a corydora NOT get large??

My guess is it's a male, Susan.:) Females are larger and plumper in comparison with the males.

Yep, I agree the small cory is most likely male. I have one female and three males and the female is way bigger than the others even though they all appear to eat the same amount.

Funny- I saw my big momma carrying around her eggs today, so I know at least one of the others is problably a male.

Funny, I was wondering the same about my cory. He's tiny, and I've had him well over a month now in my 65. He's gorgeous, too. He's almost completely turquoise in color. Does anyone know the specific name of the cory that I speak of? I'm not too inclined with catfish myself.

Heh, I'd put everyone to bed already and when I turned the lights on, I found my trumpet snails already working their night shifts. Anyway, this was the best picture I could get from my phone.

Yeah, bad photo!

I bet the one you have is an Emerald cory, which I read can go from blue to green. Of course in the middle of that would be turquoise. Does he look like this?

I hope that VERY long url works. It's a copyrighted image so I can't post it. But WOW what a pretty color cory!

Makes my albinos, although I love them, boring :o *yawn*

I am quickly becoming a cory addict! I just love their bevahior, their coloring-everything about them.
