Here are five species from the Rio Guapore/Mamore system in southwestern Brazil that are a bit different. Many are familiar with Corydoras sterbai, but the others are less often seen. I have, or have had, all of these species in average temperature tanks and they are all good corys. The Corydoras gossei and Corydoras seussi are quite a nice contrast, being a dull black with orange fins. All are in our profiles. The trait of orange fins on several species from this system is an interesting topic in itself.
