hi, my name is alex. i have had a 10 gallon planted tank set up with a baby dragon goby and a baby green spotted puffer. i have not yet added any salt accept the kind for freshwater. but before i start adding the salt i would like to upgrade them to a fourty gallon tank. are there any other fish that could live in there with them. i am interested in columbian catfish, monos, and archers. this is my first brackish tank. so i need some tips for adding the salt. since these fish start out in freshwater and then go to brackish i would want to acclimate them slowly. i will be using instant ocean. how much salt should i have in the tank to start out with

salinity level should be at SG1.002-1.007 .normal marine tanks are at SG1.020 1 kg to 10 liters or as specified on the lable. use a hydrometer to check the salinity.
