My Scatophagus (Scat) has died

Hi,

I woke up this morning to find my Scat in the bottom of my tank motionless. At fist I thought he might have been resting. But after gently prodding him with a net, he became dislodged from the tank floor and floated to the top! :(
I'm not sure about the cause of his death, and I would like to know if anyone has any ideas about how he died. Yesterday was the only day where I have noticed unusual behavior: He kept sitting flat against the tank filter. I have had him for 2 weeks and he has lived happily in the tank until this morning.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

Sorry to hear you lost him Nathan. If you could give a little more information, it would help in determining the cause.

What size is the tank, how long has it been running, what other fish do you have in it, and what are the readings for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate?
